Sunflower your my soul,
Give me sun and give me gold
Sunflower bathe my days
in warm and encasing rays
Sunflower, look past the frame
give me a make wife, myself a name
Sunflower, Im in your care
I waited by the stairs
But I cannot be free
Until the rain pours over me, and then we feast, then we feast
Sunflower, yellow glow
I have nowhere else to go,
Sunflower, cant see so well
My brain begins to swell,
Sunflower, promise to be,
Roots to a bold and wealthy tree
Sunflower, the scent of you
Weighs heavy on all we do
I cannot be free
Rain pours over me, then we shall feast, we shall feast
Sunflower your my soul,
Give me sun and give me gold
Sunflower bathe my days
in warm and encasing rays

Golden Bear

Once when there was stone in your stare,
The trait of selected few,
Searching only for the only cure of a suburban saint,
But the snow on the ground stayed true
From Maine we re-encountered a bliss,
With solitude around the bend
It came and went in the winter of 75,
And it bucked my witless trends
Through the sights of the golden bear,
Calm, still and poised, no ill
Crystal water, I see its streaming veins,
Living, breathing forests' voice, loud and shrill
Eternally grateful, the chains fall away, with rust,
Now there is a menace in your glare,
A high brick wall now remains
Set out to find the cure to system,
Through the endless Oregon plains
Green and blank empty tank,
Filtered the colours of my spectrum
Sheepskin jacket wandering further alone,
To feel that river now hum
Through the clearing, I see the bold stag deer,
Nervous what point aware, dared to freeze
Bark of the wood, begins to prize,
Found paradise there, cold november breeze
Eternally grateful. The chains fell away, with rust,
Lower frequency, thundering days,
New found belief in serenity, is this tranquil place
Lower urgency, inhibitions vertical,
Take a razor to your skin, draw a line to where you can go,
Through the sites, of the Golden Bear, calm, still and poised, no ill.
